Science has clearly proven that negative emotions and negative thinking can do tremendous damage to you both physically and mentally! Destructive emotions like anger, guilt, resentment, fear and frustration—to name just a few—release lethal toxins within our bodies! These deadly emotions and prolonged psychological stresses, overthinking, bitterness, even low self-esteem, can predispose you to serious illnesses such as depression, heart disease and even cancer!
When you become aware of a negative thought or emotion ask yourself, “Is this something I want to continue thinking about or feeling?” If it isn’t then you must choose to let it go! The Sedona Method of Releasing is entirely based on this simple technique. It works—if you let it.
Also, when we become angry, stressed or over-whelmed, we tend to take shallow breaths. "Breathe" reminds us in stressful situations to Breathe: slowly and deeply. As you relax and breathe deeply, peace, calm and refreshment will quickly replace the anxiety.
